Modifying 3S-GE engine manual
Probably many of you would like to know, what you can do for your 3S-GE to run better.
These engines are also used in Celicas so there are many people running it.
I want to share with you a very great manual about modifying 3S-GE.
It includes everything. From air filer or exhaust to internal mods, such as crankshaft or pistons.
Manual consists of 6 .pdf pages.

How to drift N/A MR2
There are lots of MR2 owners wondering how to drift it. Most of them are having problems with understeering or too big oversteer. I will give you some tips to learn it easier.
Understeering is caused by wrong technique of driving, tires and suspension of course. If you have better tyres in rear, than in front, you will probably have understeer. Also, you should know, how not to cause understeer.
For ex.: you are going straight, then you push brakes before a corner and when you reach corner, you accelerate. That will make understeer. If you want to make oversteer, this is what you need to do: when you reach a corner and begin to turn, push brakes easily. Weight goes to front and rear tyres loose the grip and congratulations, you are drifting now. However, this kind of technique requires speed.
Another way to drift mr2 is to push a clutch hard... Yes, it hurts, but this is what you need in low speed drifting. For ex.: you are driving for around 40km/h and you want to drift it. You need to begin a turn, and when the car is turning, accelerate and push the cluch sharply. You will probably start drifting. But not too much untill you have LSD. In this kind of technique you should not to begin drifting, untill you are not turning. If you push the clutch first and only then turn, you will have understeer. This technique is not very good for N/A without LSD/ But if you have a Turbo with LSD, you should make it great.
Now about tyres. If you want to drift, never put better tyres in rear than in front. It will cause understeer. Also, it is better to drift with low profile tyres, they slide more easily. I'm using R17 205/40 in front and R15 195/50 in rear. However, it would drift better with R16 195/45, I think.
I won't talk about suspension, as I'm using only lowering springs. Coils, of course, would be much better. You would have a lot of options with them and could make the best set up for drifting or for fast cornering (without sliding). Also the sway bars makes difference, but I'm using stock now. I read that later revisions (rev3, rev4) has more understeer because of different sway bars. Unfortunately, I don't remember if they are stiffer in front or in rear. If anyone know, write a comment and I will add it.
So, here are short tips:

3. Learn it on a wet tarmac first and only later on dry.
4. For better results, buy LSD firstly, then Turbo engine and Coils.

Bad... Very bad. The slalom was very slow, needed much precision. I hited lots of cones, because I have no power steering.
