About Toyota MR2

 Toyota MR2 MK2
 (1990-1999)             

It's a 2 door RWD, Mid-engined, 2 seat sport coupe. It's unordinary car because of its handling, firstly. Next thing is the design. MR2 looks really sporty. Side air holes makes it more agressive, however front doesn't look very agressive, in my opinion. Anyway, you can change it. There are lots of body kits in the market.

Basic types of engines:

3S-GE 2.0l N/A 115kw (rev1; rev2); 125kw (rev3);

3S-GTE 2.0l Turbo 150kw - 180kw (depends on revision and market to be made for);

3S-FE 2.0l N/A 103kw;

5S-FE 2.2l N/A 97kw (US market);

Let's talk about handling now. When I tried to drift it for a first time, I spun. And it lasted lots of times, untill I learned it better. It was because of its weight in the rear (weight distribution is 50-50 on axles, thought). When you drift it, the inertia is very strong, and you will probably spin around if you do too big angle and even if you pull off an accelerator or push the brakes. You need to feel what is the critical point of angle untill you spin around. And you will learn it only in PRACTICING. Just remember not to do it on a public roads!
